Todd Snyder Brings The Sandy Coast To The New Balance 57/40 “Stony Beach”

Todd Snyder Brings The Sandy Coast To The New Balance 57/40 “Stony Beach”

For years now, Todd Snyder has offered colorful yet still mature collaborations with New Balance. His latest offering, which is a heavy departure from the farm market inspired 327s, takes us to a “Stony Beach.” Using the 57/40 as a vehicle, the designer evokes a feeling similar in both touch and visuals.

“We had seen great success with both our New Balance ‘Pale Ale’ and ‘Dark Ale’ sneaker collaborations, and when we started thinking about a third installment in this hoppy trilogy, my mind wandered to that special feeling of being out on Eastern Long Island after the summer season has long passed,” Synder stated.

Limited to only 750 pairs, the colorway is a blend of different natural-hued materials. Vachetta and ivory leather add a premium element throughout, standing out atop the eye stays, trims, and the oversized “N” logo. Three different types of suede — some hairy, others smooth — then surround these very accents, setting neutral ground while simultaneously nodding to the sand, surf, and rocks signature to a beach town.

Priced at $160 USD, the Todd Snyder x New Balance 57/40 is scheduled to release tomorrow, November 4th, via ToddSnyder.com, the Madison Park flagship, and the East Hampton store.

In other news, the Yeezy Knit Runner Boot was just debuted.
