The Paperboy x New Balance 992 “Fried Egg” Sees A Wider Release On June 18th

The Paperboy x New Balance 992 “Fried Egg” Sees A Wider Release On June 18th

Few things are as universal as food. And it’s for that reason that culinary-inspired sneakers gain so much buzz. Take, for example, the Paperboy Paris x New Balance 992, which drew from the imprint’s love and passion for all that’s delicious. While originally offered exclusively in Paris, right at their own flagship location, the pair is now finally going out to the world later this week.

Rather than recreate a recipe of their own design, Paperboy has opted to celebrate one of the most transformable ingredients found across kitchens globally: the humble egg — or, more specifically, the fried egg. This homage arrives atop the construction of the 992, its suede, mesh, and leathers dressed in mimicry of the shell, whites, and yolk. The tongue and insole, then, complement the colorway with the image of a sunny-side up breakfast and typical co-branding, while the signature Paperboy logo sits by its lonesome along the heel.

For a closer, detailed look, peer below. A release is expected on June 18th at select retailers.

In other news, an FPAR Nike SB Blazer Low was just revealed.
