Jasmine Tang Despite images of the Air Jordan 9 “Change the World” first surfacing in December 2020, the pair has been continually dodging a release. Fittingly during Women’s History Month, the mismatched model has a new release date – March 31st. Of course, that is unless another delay is on the way.
The style is arriving as the first, women’s-exclusive AJ9. It boasts a white leather base that is offset by multicolored overlays. While the left shoe focuses on lavender and yellow accents, the remaining shoe opts for hot pink and orange. These playful overlays bordering the silhouette lend their appearances to innovative vegetable dyes. The colors created by the dyes are also used on the eyelets and midsole piece—specifically yellow and orange. Contrast stitches and an embroidered 23 on the heel round out the spring-ready design.
