Ninja’s First adidas ZX Torsion Collaboration Releases On October 14th

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins released his first footwear collaboration with adidas on the last day of 2019. Since then, the online personality has switched back over to streaming on Twitch, joined in on the “Among Us” hype and even signed an endorsement deal with Postmates. On the sportswear end, new products from his “Time In” imprint have repeatedly been teased, but equally delayed. On October 14th, however, Blevins’ ZX Torsion duo hits retailers.

Unlike his collaborative Nite Jogger proposals thus far, Ninja’s two takes on the dual-cushioned silhouette forgo overt and excessive branding. Official images don’t depict any inclusion of the online personality’s primary logo or name, but do feature a kunai knife pattern on the insole and medial midfoot. Lace dubraes don both a yellow hue and “TIME IN” text, which appears on the adjacent pairs launching in mid-October. The remainder of the duo’s mixed-materials uppers are clad in either greyscale or accented by an eye-catching “Glory Purple.” Underfoot, sole units deliver different palettes across each air, but both consist of partially-exposed white Boost, bold-colored tread and semi-translucent Torsion bars in the outsole’s center.
