Detailed Look At The Upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Deep Ocean”

In 2020, the folks on the Jumpman team have made a commendable effort in giving their beloved Air Jordan 4 an array of shining moments. Earlier this year, the silhouette revived the classic “Black Cat” colorway, teamed up with Virgil Abloh‘s ever-popular Off-White imprint, and is on the cusp of releasing its first round of UNION Jordan 4 collaborations. And while those alone are impressive enough, the Tinker-designed model still has a few more variations left in the tank this year, one being this specially-crafted “Deep Ocean” rendition.

Taking a more artistic approach, Jordan Brand builds its upper half with a combination of canvas and twill materials, all of which are assembled in patchwork fashion. The way its titular hue works harmoniously with white/grey accents elicits memories of Visvim’s Kerchief Kofu down jacket, only it also ushers in notes of “Fire Red” along the laces, and medial walls. Furthermore, the translucent heel counters and split between that of tile and star-like patterns, while the interior liners contrast with in navy/white florals.
