Following its collaboration with Boston-based streetwear retailer Bodega, the New Balance X-Racer has since honed in on delivering a consistent stream of in-line colorways. And to kick off the second week of August, the NB team has crafted a new iteration of the silhouette that is expressive of retro-inspired flair.

Whether wearers are rockin’ these casually in the streets or taking them out for an outdoor hiking excursion, there’s a good chance that, just due to the nature of its louder accents of blue trim across the liners, pink background “N” logos, and neon green treading, some heads will be turned. For the rest of its build, the upper that splits between ripstop underlays, suede paneling across the mid-foot, and synthetic toe tips that deviate in various shadings of grey.
