Nike Adds Contrast Stitching To A Black And White Cortez

Nike Adds Contrast Stitching To A Black And White Cortez

Ever since it co-starred in Forrest Gump, the Nike Cortez has gone through a lifetime’s worth of phases, but even after delving into Stranger Things‘ lore and Earth Day activism, it’s most simple releases remain the most sought after. Aside from their quick over-branded experiments, it seems the brand is more than aware and they’re currently on track to expand the model’s black outfits. Restrained in terms of color, the pair attains intricacy with subtler tweaks: the leather construction is swapped for a satin-like nylon and the swooshes at the side bear a layered execution marked by contrasting black stitch just in between. Branding at the tongue exhibits a half-half motif — sporting two logos side by side — while dubraes finish with a metallic silver polish vintage-esque “Cortez” debossing. Grab a detailed look at the pair below and find it available at the select retailers below and likely Nike.com soon.

In other news, the Nike Cross Trainer 3 Infrared is back.
