The Nike Air Max Plus Gets Upgraded With Croc Skin Overlays

The design team over in Beaverton, OR has surely been having some fun toying with animalistic patterns as a few Nike/Jordan silhouettes such as the Blazer, Air Force 1, and Air Jordan 1 have been lately constructed with scaly textures. Among them are crocodile skins which, after recently being spotted on a women’s Blazer Low variation, is now transporting its aesthetic to this brand new Air Max Plus colorway for kids. Although used sparingly, the reptilian patterns dapper up these Sportswear classics with a hint of elevated luxury by seating themselves just above the midsoles on both the lateral/medial walls, in addition to the entire heel panel that hosts its traditional “TN” insignia. Most of the real estate is kept to a stealthy black theme, but accents are rather enticing as the midsole features cracked lava graphics and the Air units overtly stand out with a kryptonite green hue. Check out a detailed look here below, and find these available now in kid’s sizes on Nike.com for $155.

In other news, the Nike Kyrie 6 has surfaced in a new colorway with retro logos.
