The All-Black Nike Air Foamposite One Could Be Returning In 2020

The All-Black Nike Air Foamposite One Could Be Returning In 2020

Long before the famed “Galaxy” from 2012’s All-Star Weekend came into play, this simple all-black rendition of the Air Foamposite One was setting new standards of Foamposite resell value. The Black/Anthracite release from August of 2007, at the absolute peak of Foamposite mania, fetched $1,000 or more on the aftermarket as the bulky, molded basketball shoe continued to be the apple of every sneaker-crazed eye. There’s no questioning that the peak of Foamposites came in 2012 with the release of the aforementioned “Galaxy” and the auction-only ParaNormans, but it’s been a decline – both steady and steep – since then. Perhaps the re-issue of an all-time classic might help boost the ratings a bit, and according to Sneaker Files, the exact pair from ’07 is set to make a return.. All-black Foams certainly will not hit like it used to, but for devotees, it’s a welcome sight.
