The adidas Streetball Switches Up To Leather For Upcoming Release

The adidas Streetball Switches Up To Leather For Upcoming Release

Taking a break from its slew of BOOST-cushioned running models and “in-your-face” Yeezy releases, adidas has outfitted its 90s-inspired Streetball model in not only a new grey and purple colorway, but also with a leather upper that deviates from the silhouette’s recent predominantly suede fabrication. More understated than its “Solar Orange” and less recognizable than its best Air Yeezy 1 “Blink” impression, this new iteration combines a color palette reminiscent of its debut decade with a soft purple taking over the translucent molding on the Lightstrike midsole while “Shock Cyan” decorates the collar, Three Stripes logo, and lace tips. Toe boxes, as well as lace and heel overlays are done in a buttery grey leather sure to wear-in nicely whether these are rocked on the hardwood or on the concrete.

No official U.S. release information is yet known for this Streetball, but the shoe is likely to come exclusively to adidas.com for the usual $110 USD in the coming weeks. Until then, enjoy official images here below.
