The Nike Air Footscape “No Cover” Goes Punk With Zebra Patterns

The Nike Air Footscape “No Cover” Goes Punk With Zebra Patterns

With her very own Nike collection, Nordstrom’s Vice President of Creative Projects, Olivia Kim, has not only lived up to her title but has offered up some of the most inventive creations in each model’s current run of releases, simultaneously paying homage to the fashion culture of New York’s 90s hip-hop scene. Dubbed the “No Cover” pack, each is more inventive than the next with this women’s exclusive take on the Air Footscape bringing loud heritage to a model that only rarely catches the light of day. Uppers, in their standard asymmetric tooling, are dressed up in the iconic “Daktari” print throughout, faded just slightly in a possible nod to its age. Pink hits at the mesh of the inner tongue as well as some of the barely visible bits of the inner sock liner break up this mostly neutral palette, doing so along with the sparing branding of Volt swooshes. The signature sole of the model line-up makes its way back in a more than unassuming swathe of white while off-center lace units are similarly quiet with barely noticeable strips of silver reflective strewn about. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it rolling out to select retailers and Nike.com come November 8th while a round of early releases will precede come October 31st.
