The Nike LeBron 16 Low Takes On A USA Basketball Theme

USA Basketball is gearing up for this summer’s FIBA World Cup, and even though LeBron James won’t be joining the squad in China, he’s with them in spirit thanks to this USA Basketball-themed Nike LeBron 16 Low. Although the shoe may appear to be a simple white/navy colorway with gold accents at first glance, closer inspection reveals several details that indicate a connection to the storied 1992 USA Basketball squad, better known as the “Dream Team.” A traditional Nike Air hit embroidered in gold thread replaces the normal lion head detailing on the triangular heel piece, and if you peel back the heel tab to look at its inner half, you’ll notice a small American flag is present there as well. Special branding graces the insoles, and the look is finalized by a classic gum outsole with a red Dunkman logo. Looking to support Team USA with your footwear this summer? These international game-ready low-top LeBron 16s will release at the retailers listed below on July 1st for $160 USD.
