The Nike Speed Turf Max Honors The Philadelphia Eagles

The Nike Speed Turf Max Honors The Philadelphia Eagles

Originally released in 1995 and frequently spotted on the feet of the great Dan Marino, the Nike Speed Turf Max is one of the Swoosh Brand’s most well-known American football shoes. With the NFL playoffs in full swing it’s coming back as part of a “City Pride” pack, and we now have a look at a pair done up in honor of the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Using a throwback Eagles color combination of black, white, and pine green with silver accents that’s more Randall Cunningham than Carson Wentz, the shoes harken back to the Birds’ beloved ’90s uniforms, and even come complete with a “Phi” hit on the lateral forefoot for an extra pop of Philly pride. Further details are then provided by pebbled silver Swooshes on the collar, a tri-color heel tab, and a silver Air Max unit. According to Foot Locker‘s release calendar, these Speed Turfs are dropping January 11th — so check them out in detail below while you wait for the release, and tune in this Sunday to catch the magical Nick Foles and the Eagles take on the dangerous Drew Brees and the Saints in New Orleans as well.

Update: This Speed Turf is not officially affiliated with the Eagles in any way and is a part of Foot Locker’s “Home And Away” collection.
