The Air Jordan 11 “Bred” Gets The Suede Future Transformation

The Air Jordan 11 “Bred” Gets The Suede Future Transformation

The Air Jordan Future is a new-age lifestyle silhouette that draws heavily from the legendary Air Jordan 11 via the use of the same midsole, carbon fiber midfoot plate, and semi-translucent outsole. Typically, that’s where the throwback inspiration would end—as since its inception in 2014 the shoe’s upper has usually been constructed from a light-weight woven material—but now a new iteration of the Future, complete with alternate uppers has surfaced. This new take swaps out the shoe’s standard flexible woven construction for a premium buttery suede, and also adds a Jumpman hit on the lateral heel collar for an extra pop of 11-inspired style. The unique asymmetrical lacing system remains unchanged, and the leather tongue features a tonal patch for a final understated take of branding. This new take on the Future has arrived in three colorways: a classic “Bred” (the most 11-inspired pair of the bunch), a black and grey, and a ladies-only olive that removes the Jumpman logo featured on the men’s pairs for a more toned-down look. All three pairs are available on Nike UK now, and retail for £114.95—around $150 USD.
