Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “Solar Pack” Releases On August 18th

Previously referred to as the “Afro Pack”, it turns out that Pharrell‘s next collaborative collection with the Three Stripes will henceforth be known as the “Solar Pack”. Consisting of two NMD Hu Trail models that boast colorful tribal prints throughout their Primeknit uppers, they carry a customarily motivational message that has become synonymous with Skateboard P’s capsules. This time around, Williams and adidas switch things up a bit from the norm, incorporating letters within the text as well, as one forefoot read, “3MPOW3R” or EMPOWER, and the other featuring text that says “M1L3L3”, that translates to forever in Swahili – one of the most commonly used languages in Africa. Each NMD offering also features rugged trail-ready outsoles that allow for both iterations to be worn in a plethora of situations.

Equipped with bright an boisterous color schemes, fans of Pharrell and adidas’ long-standing relationship will be able to choose from a pair that combines black, yellow, and red, as well as a version that sees orange and teal interact with a regal purple hue.
