Last season, Nike fashioned an all new ‘Postseason’ shoe for LeBron James called the Nike LeBron VII P.S.. It’s purpose? To provide a lighter, easier ride for LeBron James during his quest for an NBA Championship. Swapping out the Air Max unit for a Zoom Air-cushioned midsole, the LeBron VII P.S. was the perfect package for a late season push. For this season, Nike has plans to produce a second version of LeBron James’ eighth signature shoe with a scheduled debut before the Playoffs. The LeBron 8 V2 maintains the same Air Max cushioning and silhouette as the V1, but with an all new Flywire shell that, like the P.S., offers a lighter and breathable package. A ‘luxurious’ vs. sporty’ contrast could be made, as the V1 has released in impressive leather and suede forms, but you can expect the V2 versions to feature the slicker appeal attributed to the exposed Flywire and translucent shell. Take a look at the comparisons after the jump and let us know which LeBron 8 version you prefer. via LRJ23.
