Cariuma’s Pantone Collaboration Continues With Some Fresh Oca Low Sneaker Colorways to Step Up Your Style This Spring

Sustainable sneaker brand Cariuma just launched a trio of its Oca Low sneakers in spring-forward, Pantone-inspired colorways — and we suggest you stock up on them now. Cariuma’s Oca Low sneaker has previously racked up a 77,000-person waitlist, so we expect these pastel styles to sell out fast.
Cariuma launched in 2018, creating unisex sneakers and slip-ons designed for skaters, surfers, and any old shopper to wear at the beach, on the streets, and beyond. Since its debut, the brand has become a celebrity go-to, frequently spotted on Ashton Kutcher (he wore a black pair of Oca Low sneakers during a Good Morning America appearance just last month). Jon Hamm, Helen Mirren, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Martin, and Nina Agdal are few notable names who have also worn the styles out and about.
The brand’s sneakers get A-list appeal from their combination of style and sustainability. The Oca Low style is among the most popular, as it’s a comfortable sneaker for women and for men. Cariuma’s new colorways aren’t the first collaboration between the shoe brand and Pantone — earlier this year, Cariuma debuted six styles of sneakers in Pantone’s color of the year, Viva Magenta. The newly launched styles come in softer hues that’ll align with your spring wardrobe: French Oak is a foggy beige, Tapestry is a blue-green, and Rose is an earthy pink.
These earth-inspired colors align with Cariuma’s serious take on sustainability. The B Corp-certified brand is committed to reforestation, planting two trees for every pair of sneakers sold. As of December 2022, Cariuma has planted over 2 million trees in the Brazilian rainforest.
