The reader votes are tallied and the winner of best celebrity statement shoe of the week goes to Sophia Bush in Nicholas Kirkwood. Unsurprisingly, Sophia Bush was also our editor’s choice.
The Chicago P.D. star really knocked it out of the park this past week. She stepped out for the NBC upfront presentations wearing a simple day dress by Jil Stuart that could have easily felt under-dressed or a little youthful with the flouncy skirt, but the star made her look modern by opting for a pair of strong sandals. The sleek, architectural heel is a nice contemporary surprise on the simple silhouette. The slight metallic trim also adds a bit of a pop to a black sandal. It’s a fresh take and nice to see a star trying something a little different on the red carpet.
