First Lady Jill Biden attended a rally accompanying her husband President Joe Biden in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday. The rally follows the first 2024 presidential debate hosted by CNN wherein the President spoke in opposition against former President Donald Trump.
For the rally, Jill wore a pair of deep blue almost black suede pumps, a staple silhouette in her wardrobe. The style featured sharp triangular toes, textural suede uppers and arched soles. The set was all sat atop thin but sturdy 3 to 4-inch stiletto heels that gave Biden a conservative and walkable boost.
The endlessly versatile pump is widely available from both low and high-end brands and comes in a range of both styles and colors. The style is traditionally favored for its sharp silhouette and sleek stiletto heels, which can dress up both casual and formal ensembles. Jill has made the suede silhouette a go-to, donning the style for both formal and casual occasions.

Making a statement, the First Lady donned a blue and white crepe dress hailing from New York-based designer Christian Siriano. The garment featured an eye-catching “VOTE” print, urging all audience members watching to show up to the polls on Nov. 5.
Sirianio took to his socials to speak about his statement-making look for Jill. “Dr. Biden wearing my dress sends a clear message to us all. A vote for Biden is a vote for human and civil rights. As a young American brand and designer, what we can do is give our clothes a voice and I hope this speaks to you. Now let’s get to work!”
When it comes to footwear, Jill’s choices are classic and chic. The first lady frequently favors pointed-toe pumps in nude and black tones from brands including Dior, Valentino and Stuart Weitzman. Oftentimes, Jill color coordinates her footwear with her ensemble for the day.
