Gayle King Coordinates in Green Pumps for Tyler Perry’s ‘Divorce in the Black’ New York City Premiere
Gayle King went a green look in pumps while attending Tyler Perry’s “Divorce in the Black” New York Premiere at Regal Times Square on Monday night.
For the event, King wore a strappy pump that consisted of two slim straps on the mid-foot region of the shoe that extended slightly towards the back portion of her foot. Additionally, the toe box featured a rounded design that, in turn, boasted a floral green and white pattern.
The silhouette was completed by a slender stiletto heel estimated to be approximately 3-to-4 inches in height. As for the rest of her outfit, King wore a green midi dress, which she accessorized with bracelets on each of her wrists, a clutch purse that matched her ensemble, a silver necklace and green glasses.

King has started off the summer season showcasing a number of notable footwear looks. For the opening night screening of “Diane Von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge” during the 2024 Tribeca Festival at BMCC Tribeca PAC in June, she was spotted in a pair of open-toe shoes that consisted of a baby blue design, a thick strap over the front of the toe adorned with rows of circular and square silver studs, a slim strap that went around the ankle that closed with a silver clasp and a thin stiletto heel that measured approximately 2.5 inches.
That same month, she attended the premiere of “I Am: Celine Dion” in New York City in a pair of strappy sandals that featured a tan suede leather upper and shimmery gold metallic trim, a slingback classic peep-toe design, subtle cutout details at the sides and skinny high heels measuring approximately 3 inches tall.
Also in June, she made another appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival in a pair of metallic silver glitter platform sneakers that included glittering silver sparkles on the uppers, white lace-up closures and thick rubber platform soles for a height boost.
Tyler Perry’s “Divorce In The Black” is about a woman whose husband leaves her heartbroken as he deserts their marriage. When she moves on and finds true love, however, her former lover starts embarking on a series of malicious actions. The film releases via Amazon Prime on June 11.
