Emma Corrin attended the Ultimate “Deadpool & Wolverine” Celebration of Life event at San Diego Comic Con on Thursday night wearing a sleek shoulder less minidress from Hodakova with sheer tights, showcasing her fashionable nature. Accompanying her outfit of choice for the evening was a pair of a unique pair of pointed pumps emphasized by a large chunky buckle strap in the mid-foot.
Aside from its distinctive appearance, the pumps were crafted with leather, which added to the gothic appeal of the design, and enhanced by a triangular design in the upper. While the back of her shoes couldn’t be seen completely, it’s likely they were completed by a sharp stiletto heel ranging between 4-to-5 inches in height.
Corrin, who has been on the promotional tour for her newest film “Deadpool & Wolverine,” has worn some standout footwear looks over the past few weeks. For the New York City premiere of the film earlier this week, the actress donned a pair of black patent leather pumps that featured a gold heel, a glossy finish and metallic accents. She teamed her footwear with a custom Nina Ricci bodysuit by Harris Reed. Also this week, she made an appearance on “Good Morning America” in a pair of classic black Oxfords that were constructed in leather, and highlighted through a shiny patent finish, a rounded toe and a square heel.

Corrin’s choice of pumps for her San Diego Comic Con appearance are in-line with what many celebrities have been choosing for their appearances in 2024. Pumps are loved for their understated elegance, timeless appeal and ability to work with just about anything from a fashion perspective. As such, they are a go-to for many in regards to footwear, with brands such as Chanel, Gucci and Burberry offering many variations of the model.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” focuses on Wolverine as he recovers from his injuries. He then crosses paths with the loudmouth Deadpool, and together, they team up to defeat a common enemy. The film was directed by Shawn Levy and will be released in theaters on July 26.
