Thursday Boot Co. Is Now Offering Women’s Styles

Thursday Boot Co. is inviting women into the fold. Today, the online retailer debuted a companion women’s collection of trend-driven boots, targeting millennial customers.

“We kept hearing from women that they wanted to same aesthetic and brand story [that focused] around comfort and versatility,” said co-founder Nolan Walsh. “It’s about a minimalist aesthetic that lets the quality of the materials shine through.”

The five-style collection includes dressier looks on mid-heels such as the Uptown to more rugged work-inspired boots that include the President. All styles feature cushioned insoles for added comfort and weather-resistant leather uppers featuring its proprietary WetherSafe technology.

The direct-to-consumer business, which launched two years, was created by Walsh and partner Connor Wilson, both graduates of Columbia Business School. The two decided to step into shoe industry thanks to their mutual passion for footwear and their goal of offering trend-right looks at affordable prices. The new women’s offering is made in Mexico and priced at $149 to $199.
