The direct-to-consumer business, which launched two years, was created by Walsh and partner Connor Wilson, both graduates of Columbia Business School. The two decided to step into shoe industry thanks to their mutual passion for footwear and their goal of offering trend-right looks at affordable prices. The new women’s offering is made in Mexico and priced at $149 to $199.
Walsh and Wilson also conveyed the spirit of the brand through their choice of name. According to Walsh, Thursday is a transitional day of the week that combines work with play.
